Sociedad Cooperativa Apícola de España in Ayora, Valencia is one of the most important harvesting centers in Europe. Founded in the 80´s, nowadays counts with nearly 200 partners distributed throughout the country. This Agri-food cooperative supplies honey in either bulk or in customized packaging under the brand name ANAE.
Sociedad Cooperativa Apícola de España actually export to Frances, Germany, United Kingdom, Italy, Hungary, Belgium, North Africa, etc. They count with the IFS Food Standard.
They offer a wide range of varieties of top quality honey: orange, forest, heather, lavender, eucaliptus, polyflora, lemon, mountain, rosemary, thyme, pollen, pure beeswax, etc. They have their own retail show located in their facilities, with products to sale like cosmetics and other bee-based products.
This cooperative has been participating in the popular “Honey Festival of Ayora” since the begining, celebrated every year during the month of October.
Some of the awards that Sociedad Cooperativa Apícola de España has received are “The best Agri-food cooperative” given by the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment.

Tour
“Honey Tour. Ayora and Cofrentes”
In this tour we will learn about all the varieties and the elaboration processes of honey. Also we will discover all the goods that can be gathered from the hive: honey, bees wax, propolis, brood, venom, pollen, royal jelly, etc
Afterwards we will transfer to the town of Cofrentes where we will visit the old town, dominated by its Castle and viewpoints. We will enjoy a walk around the river Jucar and the small volcan Cerro Agras, the only volcanic outcrop of the area
