Alquería Sequer lo Blanch (Valencia)

Sequer lo Blanch is a family business located in an “alquería”, traditional country house in the middle of the cultivation fields of the Valencian orchard , in Alboraia, 3km from the city of Valencia.
The country house has been renovated and modernized but retains its authentic charm. Sequer lo Blanch is a real horchata museum where the visitor will enjoy the fact of being surrounded by the beauty of the fields offering the traditional seasonal cultivation of fruits and vegetables from Valencia. In this Horchata Tour we will learn and experience all the procedures of harvesting of tigernuts or chufas and elaboration of horchata.

With this Horchata Tour we are going to enjoy a complete immersion in the culture of horchata and chufas or tigernuts. We will visit a cambra where the tigernuts are stored, washed and dried after recollection in order to be processed to become horchata. We will also visit the fields where the tigernuts are growing and harvested and finally we will enjoy a delicious meal based on traditional gastronomy of the region.
