Alquería Planta i Cull (Valencia)
Planta i Cull is a House Museum in the hearth of “L’Horta Nord” in Alboraya, created due to the interest on the orchard, organic farming and rural areas. By “Agro-Education” we try to bring this medium, especially to visitors interested in knowing more and, from first hand, about ecological agriculture.
The photography exhibition is located in a farmhouse which has a large room to conduct workshops and a second floor with two “cambras” (formerly used to dry tobacco, groundnuts, etc) where the exhibition rooms of the museum are.
Outside there is an fully fenced entertainment area and also a cultivated field to visit

Tour
“Horchata Tour and paella tasting in Valencia”
In this tour we will visit the traditional alquería Planta i Cull where we will learn all the procedures about tigernuts or chufa cultivation and later we will visit the orchard of Valencia to enjoy a real vegetable garden.
To finish the tour we will have a tasting of different Valencian rice-based dishes and paella.
Destination
Alboraia is internationally known thanks to its horchata and tigernuts or chufas. Alboraia is located 3 km from the city of Valencia, in the county Horta Nord also called “the orchard of Valencia”. Other tourist interests in the area are the nearby beaches of Port Saplaya and La Patacona.
