Nispero tour. Callosa d´en Sarrià (Alicante)

In this tour we will visit Callosa d’en Sarrià, in the province of Alicante to discover the fruit called níspero or loquat with Designation of Origin.
We will visit the agri-food cooperative from Callosa d’en Sarrià to discover these exotic fruits and learn about all the procedures implemented for their recollection and distribution. Then we will head towards the fields to see the nispero trees and taste them after picking them ourselves.
Next we will move the Algar Waterfalls, “Les Fonts de l´Algar” a natural area with a high degree of conservation of the ecological richness. We will walk through a circuit to enjoy together near the bed of the river Algar («cave » in Arabic) and observe the spectacular waterfalls and the numerous sources springs that spring from the rock.
At the end of the tour we will have a meal based on the traditional gastronomy of the region.
