Vilafamés (Castellón)
Vilafamés has been declared “one of the most beautiful villages in Spain” thanks to the cares and importance that its neighbours and administration have given to keeping alive their cultural heritage
The old town, Heritage of Cultural Interest, is full of pinturesque houses, streets and buildings on the way to the castle from where the visitor will enjoy spectacular views. The church, iglesia de la Sangre, and the Modern Art Museum occupying an old gothic palace (15th century) are worth the visit in this cozy village. The gastronomy in Vilafamés is very rich using many regional products like , olive oil, wines, cheese, pumpkin, etc.
Agri-food Cooperative
Oleicola Del Penyagolosa is an olive mill formed by different agri-food cooperatives: Cabanes, La Pobla Tornesa and Vilafamés, dedicated during years to the olive oil production.

“Olive oil from Vilafamés, a Most Beautiful Town”
This tour includes the visit to one of the popularly called “a most beautiful village of Spain”, Vilafamés.
We will visit the agri-food cooperative Oleícola del Penyagolosa to discover the secrets of the extra virgin olive oil they produce. Later we will head to the village to walk on a guided tour by the old town, declared Heritage of Cultural Interest.
Finally we will eat a meal based on traditional gastronomy.
