Cooperativa Vinícola Onteniense (Ontinyent)
The agri-food cooperative Cooperativa Vinícola Onteniense, founded in 1961 counts with about 2.300 associates participating in the winery and oil mills.
They are producers and distributors of several products: wine, olive oil, olives and watermelon. Regarding wines, Cooperativa Vinícola Onteniense reaches the cultivated lands of different municipalities belonging to the Vall d’Albaida county: Agullent, Aielo de Malferit, Ontinyent, Fontanars del Alforins.
Some of their wine brands are: Ontinium Syrah, Ontinium Barrica, Ontinium Tempranillo, Ontinium Blanco, Salt del Bou, Codolla, Viña Umbria. They distribute extra virgin oilive oil and ecological olivel oil.

The town of Ontinyent is about 82 kilometres from the city of Valencia. Its old town has been declared Property of Cultural Interest. Its unique aesthetic is due to the contrast resulting from its stately 18th century mansions and the more modest Valencian buildings from the late 18th century and early 19th century.
