The agri-food cooperative of Real Export is one of the main orange and mandarine exporters of the Valencia Region.
Oranges are without the most important citrus crop in the world and the Region of Valencia is largest producer of oranges in Spain. It has attracted the name «The Orchard of Spain». Sweet oranges are grown in well irrigated groves near the coastline. In the summer the air is filled with the heavy scent of orange blossom.
The Valencia Region produces a wide variety of oranges where the most popular is the sweet clementine.
Real Export takes the fruits from the fields and follows very strict quality control procedures in order to offer the best quality. Actually they are distributing all over Europe their different varieties: clementina, clemenules, navel, satsuma, navelina, valencia late, etc

«Oranges and mandarines from Valencia»
This tour has been specially made to give the tourist an approach to the most popular fruit in Valencia: oranges.
We will visit the agri-food cooperative RealExport to learn all about collection procedures and then we´ll go to pick our oranges from the orange trees. After we will transfer to the city of Onda, where we´ll walk on a guided tour around the Medieval town.
We will finish the tour with a traditional meal based on the gastronomy of the region.
Destination
Onda (around 26.000 inhabitants) is one of the main cities in Castellon. It´s an important center of production in the ceramic tile industry.
This village of Roman origin, became of great importance to the time of the Arabs.
A “must-visit” is its old town and castle surrounded by the old Muslim quarter.
